Research

My goal is to investigate the translation regulatory role of an eukaryotic translation initiation factor - eIF3 - during eary embryonic development of zebrafish. For this purpose we have standardized a protocol to do a polysome- associated RNA-sequncing technique using zebrafish embryos. As a subsequent step, we are utilizing this technique to identify the cohort of messanger RNAs which could be targeted to polysome for their translation by eIF3.
